I am officially kILLing it at life right now, Living, working, and riding at tha Hood! All summer I will be holding down Exit Real World @ Windell’s. It’s a small skate shop right on the campus of Windell’s in Sandy, Oregon. Come visit if you make it up this way in the next 3 months! Here a few photos from one day during Session #1.
While I am sitting inside, working, on this oh so beautiful day, wasting away, I can’t help but think about the last 4 epic days I have had on the hill, and of the paycheck I will still recieve at the end of the month. For that I would like to thank Shoreline Go visit them online or at one of the three locations in South Lake Tahoe. It is a fullscale snowboard shop in the winter, and bike and skate in the summer. We carry all the sweet brands, including Giv for the 07/08 season. We also do snowboard, snowshoe, snowblade, ski, bike, and paintball rentals as well. I started out riding for this shop, and now I work fulltime (almost, not really). Some fellow teammates include Miss X Games, Jamie Anderson, and Joanna Dzierzawski, who rides for Smith, 686, and Ride (this girl is going places!) So go check them out, and buy something, if you need it, and tell them I said Thanks 
He would be a hermaphrodite! Weird huh.. so maybe let’s say, if he was a she, it would be me! Check it out. There is this online contest of girls around the world who rip, the winner getting to go to the TELUS World Ski & Snowboard Festival in April, which I think is pretty freakin’ cool. Everyone makes a profile, then gets all their friends, families, and “business associates” to vote for them. It has been going on for months, and now the time to vote is running out. Only two weeks left.. so… if you are reading this, help a sista out, and vote for me! Go visit www.ifullrwasagirl.com and search for username: haloisaqueen. With the holidays around the resorts are super packed, and passes are blacked out. Since I have not yet made it to “high roller” status, I cannot afford to pay for tickets this weekend. So, the circumstances have forced me to find other ways to play in the snow. My boyfriend Sean and I headed up to the summit of Mt. Rose yesterday and had some fun. Check out some of the pics!

SO fun! I always used to make fun of people wearing jeans whilst snowboarding, and here I am. Next we set up a mini rail and I attempt to 5-0 it. Then, Ken ollies the spine. Heck yehh!

So, if you didn’t know already… BOREAL IS OPEN! Boreal is a super small, park specific mountain, on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. They were able to blow snow and create a base no more than a foot deep to 2in. in some spots. But the good people there made it happen, and set up some pretty fun jibs. Yesterday I got to attend, and I must say it was a lot of fun. Good job Boreal. So, if you get a chance, head up there for some early season shred. It’s only 22 bucks. Here is some documentation of my day.
