So I just arrived back into the US from China. Shanghai to be specific.

The United States just declaired that we have 3 Hundred Million citizens living here.

300 million is alot of people.

Put this in perspective.

If you picked up a penny every second for the next 9 and a half years you would have about 300 million pennies.

Add 1 Billion people to that number and you have China’s population.

China is in serious trouble though because of the rapid growth to become the workshop of the world.

Indoor air pollution from coal burning takes more than 700,000 lives a year, and respiratory diseases cause nearly a quarter of all deaths in the countryside.

19 million tons of greenhouse gasses are pumped into the air every year just to help make that great stuff we call acid rain and global warming.

Most of the 20 billion tons (18 billion metric tons) of raw sewage produced in the cities each year—only 10 percent of which is treated—is dumped straight into rivers and lakes.

This means that while walking the streets your senses are on overload.
Makes you want to cut your nose off.

I’m not what you would call a hippie or a tree hugger but all of this may be something to be concerned about.
